Rozalex - an old classic is Revived

Now, without wishing to show anyones age, do you remember Rozalex? Rozalex cream was originally developed for use in the Exide car battery works at Clifton Junction near Manchester. Battery manufacture was labour intensive and used hazardous materials, so skin irritation was rife among workers. The result was the development of a barrier cream called Rozalex, helping protect workers and so increasing productivity – it has been on sale ever since.

However, it’s only fitting that we stay true to the spirit of Revival and launch Rozalex in its original style of packaging. Rozalex No 4. after work cream is the perfect tonic for dry hands.

Goodwood has partnered with Rozalex to supply a limited number of hand creams in their original retro style packaging – as the 1956 advertisement claimed, “It’s the invisible gloves between hands and dirt.” It will be on sale at the Goodwood Shop at the Goodwood Revival, along with all our other fabulous vintage style products on the 16-18 September.
