Goodwood White Flowers Scented Luxury Candle

To create luxury candles inspired by the natural splendour of the 11,000 acre Goodwood Estate, the Duchess of Richmond collaborated with master chandler Rachel Vosper, to design two unique fragrances: White Flowers and Woodland.

White Flowers is inspired by the exceptional flora of Goodwood, those first blooms of the year, as Spring bursts into life at the estate. Base notes of Cedar, White Musk and Patchouli endow the fragrance with warmth and depth, “while the beautiful white blooms sort of dance over the top,” says Vosper. “We wanted the scent to be welcoming and light, but not too overwhelming.”

Candle aficionados will appreciate the tiny ‘magic’ ingredient of Vybar (1 %), that increases the candle’s “throw”, in other words, its ability to scent the space. “The candles are designed to blend with incredible interiors and be very homely as well,” says Vosper.

Handmade in the UK, each Goodwood candle is poured in a classic, clear glass tumbler, and presented in an elegant white and green box that takes its design cues from the heraldic patterning of the Richmond family crest.
